2020 Porsche Panamera vs 2019 Porsche Panamera

Serving San Diego, CA

The Porsche Panamera has impressed drivers with its sleek styling and its spacious, well-appointed interior since it was initially offered in 2010. At the same time, it delivers the incredible power and exciting performance that you expect from a Porsche. Many of our customers at Porsche San Diego are excited by all that the 2019 Porsche Panamera promises, and the 2020 model adds a few improvements that elevate its capabilities. Before you pick out your new Panamera, we encourage you to compare the 2019 and 2020 model years thoroughly.

The performance of the Porsche Panamera for 2020 is unchanged from the previous model year despite the addition of several new 10th anniversary trims. For both model years, the lower trims will come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates 330 horsepower, and gets you up to a cruising speed in 5.3 seconds. The top trims are outfitted with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that gives you a boost up to 60 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds. This powertrain delivers 440 horsepower. A smart way to experience the difference between these two Panamera powertrains is to visit Porsche San Diego for a test drive.

For 2020, several of the Panamera trims are available in an anniversary variation. These special editions add unique badging that differentiates them. Across all trims, you can appreciate the Panamera's blend of a full-size sedan with sports car styling. This includes a sporty nose and rounded headlights that are aligned with Porsche's family traits. The hood flattens as it carries back toward the sleek windshield. The roof remains mostly flat on trims that have a liftgate spoiler. It swoops down and creates a fastback look on trims that lack the spoiler. Aggressive air vents are placed near the front fenders, and the side contouring flows outward from these vents to create a sense of rapid movement across the design.

The interior design of the 10 Years Edition trims for 2020 have unique style elements, and this is the only significant difference throughout the interior of the Panamera between the 2019 and 2020 model years. Its many features include a panoramic sunroof, a rear row entertainment system, an advanced driver's instrumentation panel, sport-inspired leather seating in the front and rear, heated seats, a 4-zone auto climate control system accessed through the front and rear touch display screens, a Bose or Burmester sound system and so much more.

At Porsche San Diego, you will receive our sales team's focused attention as you explore the Panamera in greater detail.
